Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify, 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States.
The guide’s data and user accounts are hosted by Supabase, in a data centre located in the European Union (Ireland). Photographs are served by Cloudflare R2.
What the guide contains
The pages are written for this site. Some draw on public datasets, whose source and update date are then given at the bottom of the page: walks from the departmental plans, campsites and activities from DATAtourisme, all under the Licence Ouverte 2.0.
The photographs come from Wikimedia Commons, under free licences. The author and licence of each one appear below the page’s gallery.
Opening hours, prices and opening periods are deliberately not recorded: they change from one season to the next, and fixed information would become wrong. The pages link to the venue’s own website, which is the reference.
Partner links
Some pages carry a booking button, or a map comparing available places to stay. A booking made through these links may earn us a commission, at no extra cost to the visitor. The partners are GetYourGuide for activities and Stay22, which compares Booking, Expedia and the other platforms, for places to stay.
Each paid link carries its notice next to it, visible before the click: this page explains it, it does not replace it.
These links influence neither the choice of places nor what is written about them. The guide is built from public data and selections made one by one, before any consideration of payment.
Intellectual property
