About
The Camping des Gayeulles is set in the Parc des Gayeulles, a forest park of about a hundred hectares, on Rue du Professeur Maurice Audin in Rennes. The historic centre, with its half-timbered houses and squares, is 5 kilometres away. It has 128 bare pitches: on grass with electricity, hard-standing without hook-up, or hard-standing with electricity, water and drainage for motorhomes. It also rents out 18 Citylodges for 2 to 6 people and 4 Cabanétapes, small wooden cabins for cyclists and hikers. The Citylodges have a TV and Wi-Fi; made-up beds, towels and end-of-stay cleaning are optional. The campsite holds the Clef Verte label and looks after the park’s wildlife, from squirrels to birds. Bus line C5 stops 500 metres away and metro line b 1 km away, so you can reach the centre without a car. The nearby swimming pool and ice rink, and in summer the Le Parc des Bois open-air restaurant, round off the stay. Nearby, you can visit the Rennes Museum of Fine Arts, about 14 minutes by car (6.2 km), and the Musée de Bretagne in Rennes, about 15 minutes by car (6.5 km).
