Camping du Canal stands on Rue Henri II de Rohan in Blain, at the foot of the Château de la Groulaie, between canal, forest and countryside. The Nantes-Brest canal and La Vélodyssée pass 150 metres away, so you can arrive by car or by bike. Sonia and Christophe took over the campsite in June 2026. It has 76 pitches, including 15 rental units: mobile homes, unusual accommodation and a gîte, alongside unserviced pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. The heated outdoor pool opens from mid-June to the end of August, weather permitting, every day from 10.30 am to 7 pm. At 1.20 m deep, it suits the whole family; it is not supervised and is reserved for campers. The campsite is about three quarters of an hour from Rennes, Angers and La Baule. For a stop on La Vélodyssée, the canal towpaths lead towards Nantes on one side and Redon on the other. Nearby, you can visit the Abbaretz slag heap, about 26 minutes by car (23 km).
