About
The Camping du Chêne has direct access to the Chêne lake in Saint-Julien-de-Concelles, in the Loire valley, about thirty minutes from Nantes. It belongs to the Seasonova network and has been rated 3 stars since December 2023. You sleep in a wooden cottage made with natural materials, in a bivouac tent or on a pitch for a tent, caravan or motorhome. The heated indoor pool, open from 15 May to 29 September, from 10 am to 6.30 pm, is accessible to people with reduced mobility via a handrail. The lake is good for fishing, in an area with the Prompêche label where you find carp, pike and roach. The Cap Sport et Nature leisure centre offers paddleboarding, catamaran sailing and windsurfing, and a botanical trail of about 300 metres crosses wetland plants. Beehives by the water let you watch the bees. In summer, yoga and meditation sessions are held by the pool, or indoors depending on the weather, and the campsite rents bikes for adults and children. Nearby, you can visit the Butte de la Roche in Le Loroux-Bottereau, about 13 minutes by car (8.6 km), and the Château de Goulaine in Haute-Goulaine, about 19 minutes by car (13 km).
