Every Friday, from 8 am to 1 pm, the Bouguenais village market sets up on Place de l’Église. It is mainly a food market, open all year round. It goes ahead on public holidays, except Christmas and New Year’s Day: it may then be held the morning before, if the traders wish. On Thursdays, it is the turn of the Couëts market. After the market, you can visit Trentemoult in Rezé, about 9 minutes by car (5.4 km), and the Château des ducs de Bretagne in Nantes, about 16 minutes by car (9.9 km).
