About
Every Wednesday and Saturday, from 8 am to 1 pm, the weekly La Turballe market sets up on Rue du Maréchal-Juin, on Place du Marché. It has an indoor area, “les Halles”, and an outdoor area. Traders and producers offer fruit and vegetables, condiments, butchery, charcuterie, dairy, fish, bread, flowers, farm produce and oysters. La Turballe is a fishing port on the Guérande peninsula, between Le Croisic and Piriac-sur-Mer. After the market, you can visit Guérande’s walled town, about 16 minutes by car (9.2 km), and the Musée des Marais Salants in Batz-sur-Mer, about 23 minutes by car (17 km). By the sea, Bretons beach, in La Turballe, is about 1 km away, and La Grande Falaise beach about 6 minutes by car (2.5 km).
