About
The Village de Yourtes is in Plessix-Balisson, in the commune of Beaussais-sur-Mer, in the Côtes-d’Armor, on the edge of the forest, between Dinan and Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer. The Côte d’Émeraude is 5 kilometres away. This unusual campsite is open all year round. It has about twenty yurts, heated when needed. Their domes let you see the stars, and the colourful furniture, painted by Mongolian women, is authentic. Each has a double bed, single beds and cooking facilities. The toilet block, with showers, WCs and washbasins, is separate, rustic but adequate. The campsite aims to be quiet, spacious and affordable: 54 to 100 € a night for two, 70 to 120 € on Saturdays and during the holidays. Reception prepares breakfast baskets, at 5 to 7 €, picnic baskets at 15 € and a foie gras and champagne basket. Saint-Malo, Dinan and Mont-Saint-Michel are within easy driving distance. Nearby, you can visit the ArchéoMusée Coriosolis in Corseul, about 13 minutes by car (8.4 km), and Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, about 21 minutes by car (13 km).
