About
Camping des Deux Moulins nestles in a bend of the Vilaine, on Rue du Camping in Bourg-des-Comptes, close to the towpath. Rennes is about thirty kilometres to the north. The partly shaded pitches, separated by hedges of local species, take tents, caravans and motorhomes. Mobile homes, chalets and Cabanétapes, small cabins designed for passing hikers and cyclists, are also for rent. The snack bar serves food, and the campsite sells bread, pastries and basics. It holds the Accueil Vélo label, and the Vilaine towpath can be explored on foot or by bike. On rainy days, the Aquavallons water park is in Guichen, and bikes can be rented in Guipry-Messac. The campsite also offers paddleboards to discover the river. Nearby, you can visit the Écomusée de la Bintinais in Rennes, about 25 minutes by car (26 km), and the Musée de Bretagne in Rennes, about 29 minutes by car (27 km).
