About
The Éco-camping des Buis is in Les Brulais, in Ille-et-Vilaine, in the heart of the Vallons de Bretagne, whose hills were shaped by the Vilaine. The pitches look onto the Basse-Bouère pond, surrounded by a box wood. Rated 2 stars, it takes tents, caravans and motorhomes, on pitches framed by hornbeam hedges and living willow. Two floating cabins sit on the pond, with their terraces at water level. Ecology guides the site: shared buildings designed to environmental standards, cleaning with eco-friendly or biodegradable products, and no motor vehicles inside the grounds. Reception has a kitchenette and a dining area, the toilet block has a laundry and a bike room, and all the buildings are accessible. With the Accueil Vélo label, the campsite is 400 metres from the Châteaubriant to Ploërmel greenway. The shallow pond covers 2 hectares: pike, perch and black bass for experienced anglers, roach and gudgeon for children. Nearby, you can visit the Musée de l’Officier in Guer, about 21 minutes by car (15 km), and La Gacilly, about 22 minutes by car (19 km).
