About
In Sorloc’h, GCU Mesquer offers 77 pitches and seven rentals, including mobile homes and a hikers’ cabin, in a seaside association atmosphere. It is a simple, maritime base for discovering Mesquer-Quimiac, the Mès marshes and the coastal path, rather than a big holiday village with a water park. The campsite belongs to the GCU association network rather than a commercial chain. Life on site rests on the camping spirit, simplicity and closeness to the coast: before booking, check the membership and booking conditions, as bookings go through the GCU members’ area. The Sorloc’h area is the natural asset here: beach, coastal paths and small coves. The 77 pitches take tents, caravans and motorhomes. The seven rentals include two-bedroom mobile homes and a Sauterelle Cabanétape, handy for a cyclist or walker who wants a night under cover without carrying a full tent. From Mesquer, Kercabellec harbour, the Traict de Rostu and the Mès salt marshes show three complementary sides of the area, for fishing, salt-making traditions and hiking. Wind, tides and sometimes rain set the pace of the days.
