About
Camping La Goëlette stands on Rue de la Sennetière in La Bernerie-en-Retz, on the Côte de Jade. It has direct access to the beach, for swimming, walks and sunsets, and the town centre is a few steps away. Human-sized, it has 40 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, without hedges but clearly marked, most with electricity. It does not rent accommodation: you come with your own equipment, and cyclists are welcome. The atmosphere is friendly and family-like, and the entrances are secured at night. Pets are allowed on the pitches. Pornic, the salt pans, the Lyarne marsh and the Côte de Jade markets are close by, and La Vélodyssée passes through La Bernerie. Shore fishing at low tide is one of the pleasures of the place. Nearby, you can visit Pornic castle, about 19 minutes by car (11 km), and the Noëveillard lighthouse in Pornic, about 19 minutes by car (12 km).
