About
About 200 m from the beach in Le Croisic, Camping de L’Océan brings together a 2,100 m² indoor and outdoor water park, a 400 m² spa area and a wide range of family accommodation. A large campsite with plenty of services, especially suited to those looking for pools, leisure, food and wellness right next to the wild coast. A 2,100 m² water park: the campsite has a large area of heated indoor and outdoor pools. Slides, play areas, a lazy river and hydromassage features create several atmospheres within the same estate, so families can choose activities according to the children’s ages and the weather. A real world for children: a pirate ship, water games, paddling pools and slides make the pool area a leisure world of its own. Check age restrictions and opening calendars, especially in spring or September, when not all outdoor facilities are necessarily open. The spa, a separate experience: the campsite has a 400 m² wellness area with sauna, hammam and dedicated pools, aimed at visitors looking for something other than the family pool. Ask about any extra charges and the minimum age. A beauty salon offering body and face treatments completes the offer; book treatments separately and early in busy periods. Large-scale accommodation: mobile homes, pitches and other rentals over seven hectares. Ask for the up-to-date site map. Easier everyday life on site: a restaurant, snack bar, bar and small grocery mean fewer trips out for meals. Their opening, like the leisure activities, can vary with the period: outside school holidays, check what will be open. Leisure and entertainment: sports facilities, tennis, communal areas and seasonal entertainment fill the days without leaving the campsite. The flip side is a possibly lively atmosphere in summer: if you are sensitive to noise, ask where your accommodation is on the map. A striking coastline close by: Le Croisic offers a different pace outside the campsite, with the Tréhic jetty, the fishing port, low cliffs and the rocky coves of the wild coast. In areas exposed to the swell, respect the bans and stay on the safe paths. The official website already shows a 2027 season, from 3 April to 26 September. The campsite, pools, entertainment, restaurants and bike hire can follow separate calendars: for a stay in April or late September, check each service you want individually. Take your time to discover the surroundings: the Le Croisic wild coast, Saint-Goustan beach, the Océarium, the port of Le Croisic, the Tréhic jetty and the Guérande salt marshes. Before any water activity or shore fishing, check the weather, the tides and any restrictions.
