About
The Camping de la Baie is on the route de Keravelo in Pen-Bé, in the town of Assérac, on the edge of the bay of the same name. The Pen-Bé beaches are 600 metres away, less than ten minutes on foot, and Pont-Mahé beach is next door. The bean-shaped indoor pool sits under a bubble dome and is heated to between 28 and 30°C, with a heated paddling pool and a small slide for children. The mini club welcomes 6 to 12 year olds from Monday to Friday, and the children put on a show on Friday evenings. Some mobile homes have a sea view, and some Premium ones have a private hot tub. Pitches measure 80 to 100 m², the Premium ones with private bathrooms. A bar, a grocery with bread and pastries, and a food corner for tapas, pizzas and burgers complete the services. Bikes and paddleboards can be hired. The third generation of the same family runs the campsite, created 45 years ago; Sophie Font is the owner. Set in a cul-de-sac facing the bay of Pen-Bé, it lets children cycle on their own to the playground and the multi-sports pitch. Nearby, the Tréhiguier lighthouse in Pénestin is about 13 minutes by car (9.8 km), and the Château de Ranrouët in Herbignac about 21 minutes by car (14 km).
