About

The Bois de Beaumard campsite is on rue de l’Île de Beaumard, in Pontchâteau, near the Brière regional nature park and half an hour from the beaches. It covers 1 hectare accessible to people with reduced mobility and stays open all year round. Most of the pitches take tents, caravans and motorhomes, in the sun or in the shade. Mobile homes and caravans can also be rented. A snack bar with a grocery and a play area are on site. The pitches are separated by hedges, fruit trees and flowering shrubs. A small pond is home to carp, roach and goldfish; you sometimes spot kingfishers and green woodpeckers. Children feed the farmyard animals, play on the trampoline or at table tennis, and Wi-Fi is free across the campsite. Nearby, you can visit the Château de la Bretesche in Missillac, about 10 minutes by car (7.9 km), and La Roche-Bernard, about 17 minutes by car (18 km).
