About
The Grand Fay campsite is on rue du Grand Fay, in Saint-Père-en-Retz, near the lake of the same name. The Côte de Jade beaches, in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins and Pornic, are 10 to 15 minutes away by car. Mickaël and Stéphanie run this human-sized campsite with their two children, on 2 green hectares between Nantes and Pornic. The pool, with its water slide and sun loungers, is the meeting point of the day, next to the snack bar. Mobile homes and cottages can be rented, and pitches take tents, caravans and motorhomes. The campsite was taken over in 2023. It stays open all year round, so you can also stay for a few weeks or months, for an internship, seasonal work or a work assignment. Right next door, the Grand Fay lake covers 6.7 hectares. Awarded the Parcours Famille label by the fishing federation, it has an adapted fishing platform and a 1.3 km circuit accessible to people with reduced mobility. A multisport court, a skate park, tennis courts and a football pitch are also nearby. By the sea, Rochelets beach, in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, is about 13 minutes by car (12 km), and the Grande Plage in Tharon about 15 minutes by car (13 km). Nearby, you can visit the Château de Pornic, about 19 minutes by car (13 km), and the Noëveillard lighthouse in Pornic, about 20 minutes by car (14 km).
