About
Le Village de la Mer is on rue de Prigny in Les Moutiers-en-Retz, between southern Brittany and the Vendée, half an hour from Nantes. The campsite occupies a seven-hectare wooded park, 100 metres from the village centre and 600 metres on foot from the Atlantic beaches. The heated water area has an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a lagoon for children. Playgrounds and family activities fill the season, which is livelier in July and August, when the snack bar opens. Cottages with two or three bedrooms, including one adapted for people with reduced mobility, a wooden chalet and lodges are available to rent, and pitches welcome tents and caravans. The site has 228 large pitches of about 140 m², with 16 A electricity, water and waste water drainage. At night, the grounds are lit, and entry is through automatic barriers. The village shops and restaurants, open all year, are close by. By the sea, the Fontaine aux Bretons beach in Pornic is about 13 minutes by car (9.5 km). Nearby, Pornic is about 18 minutes by car (14 km).
