Les Rives de Grand Lieu is on avenue de Nantes, in Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu, beside the river and among the vineyards, less than 30 kilometres south of Nantes. The shops in the centre are 200 metres away. The campsite has 180 pitches over 4.5 hectares, 67 of them rentals. You can sleep in a mobile home, a chalet or unusual accommodation: tipis, transparent bubble tents, safari chalets, yurts and Coco Sweet pods on stilts. One unit for 4 people is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Reception and the restaurant are housed in a yurt. A lake 50 metres away is open for swimming in July and August, and the Le Grand 9 water park is 500 metres away. Wi-Fi is free and bikes can be hired. The Grand-Lieu lake and the 9th century Carolingian abbey church of Saint-Philbert are close by. Nearby, you can visit the Château des ducs de Bretagne in Nantes, about 27 minutes by car (26 km), and the Musée d’Histoire de Nantes, about 27 minutes by car (26 km).
