About

The Pêcherie at the Camping Le Pas du Gû fits its region perfectly. Rather than imitating a fisherman’s hut, it truly borrows the features of the estuary’s fishing huts: a structure on stilts, a small flowery stream and a suspended square fishing net (carrelet). The hut measures 24 m² and sleeps up to four people with a sofa bed and a bunk bed. It has a kitchen area and a private dry toilet; showers and running water are in the campsite’s toilet blocks. Bed linen and towels are not provided. The campsite is about 800 metres from the sea and holds the Accueil Vélo label, very useful since La Loire à Vélo and La Vélodyssée cycle routes pass through the area. Single nights are possible. In 2026, tourist rates showed €80 for one night, €140 for two nights and €390 for a week, and the hut was open from 15 June to 15 September. Pets are not allowed in the Pêcherie, according to the tourist office. The site also has free Wi-Fi at the bar or reception, a playground, table tennis, pétanque and a secure bike shelter.
