About
Every Thursday morning, from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, the Bouaye market sets up on Place du Marché. It mostly serves people from Bouaye, but also many customers from neighbouring towns: Saint-Aignan-de-Grand-Lieu, Saint-Léger-les-Vignes, Brains and Saint-Mars-de-Coutais. The market takes place all year round, except when it falls on 25 December or 1 January. The town holds a second market on Sunday mornings, on Place du Bois-Jacques. After the market, you can visit Trentemoult in Rezé, about 16 minutes by car (16 km), and the Château des ducs de Bretagne in Nantes, about 23 minutes by car (21 km).
