About
Every Friday morning, from 9 am to 1 pm, the main Nort-sur-Erdre market sets up on Place du Champ-de-Foire. It brings together 36 traders: cheese, poultry, fruit and vegetables, a fishmonger, flowers, organic bakers, as well as bedding and clothes. The town also has smaller food markets: on Tuesday mornings on Square Sixmilebridge, on Wednesday late afternoons on Rue des Mariniers and on Sunday mornings on Place de l’Église. After the market, you can visit the Abbaretz slag heap, about 25 minutes by car (16 km), and the Château de la Groulaie in Blain, about 25 minutes by car (23 km).
