Every weekend, two weekly markets are held in Vertou-Centre: on Saturday morning and Sunday morning, from 8 am to 1 pm. They set up on Place du Marché, Rue du Poitou. Vertou is a town in the Nantes metropolitan area, south-east of Nantes, on the banks of the Sèvre Nantaise. For any information, the town hall can be reached on 02 40 34 76 15. After the market, you can visit the Château de Goulaine in Haute-Goulaine, about 14 minutes by car (7.9 km), and the Butte de la Roche in Le Loroux-Bottereau, about 16 minutes by car (10 km).

- The market is held on both weekend mornings: handy if you can only come one day.
- Another day: about 9 minutes by car, the Basse-Goulaine market is held on Wednesdays from 8.30 am to 1 pm; in Rezé, about 13 minutes by car, the Pont-Rousseau market is held on Fridays from 8 am to 12.45 pm.
