Every Sunday morning, from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, the Bois-Jacques market sets up on Place du Bois-Jacques, in Bouaye. It is the town’s second market, after the Thursday morning one on Place du Marché. It goes ahead all year round, except on 25 December or 1 January. Bouaye is a town south-west of Nantes, on the shores of the Lac de Grand-Lieu. After the market, you can visit Trentemoult in Rezé, about 17 minutes by car (16 km), and the Château des ducs de Bretagne in Nantes, about 24 minutes by car (21 km).
