About
Bréhec is a small seaside enclave of Plouha, at the back of a well-protected cove. The long fine sandy beach runs alongside a small harbour sheltered by a 19th-century jetty. In summer, holidaymakers, locals, sailors and water sports fans mingle here. The water often looks turquoise, and the site is less exposed than the open beaches below the Plouha cliffs. However, the beach is not lifeguarded and has no first-aid post. The site is equipped and wheelchair accessible, with toilets and drinking water but no shower. Its 2025 water quality rating, applicable in 2026, is good. On 21 August 2026, swimming and shellfish gathering were temporarily banned, then allowed again from 22 August. Dogs are banned from 15 June to 15 September, from 10 am to 8 pm. The GR34 and the Vélomaritime pass nearby.
