About
Between Saint-Malo and the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, DAMES has a rare personality: a house where sophisticated plates never come at the expense of hospitality. The founders, Marine Hervouet and Pascaline Albicini, set up their project in a former roadside inn in Dol-de-Bretagne, keeping the friendly memory of the place while creating a bright, elegant space with a garden. Their experience is complementary. Marine developed her skills alongside chefs known for their attention to produce, precise cooking and vegetables. Pascaline brings a deep culture of service and wine to the dining room. Together, they offer gastronomy that looks to the Pays de Dol, its market gardeners, fishermen, farmers and the garden. Marine seeks deep flavour rather than spectacle: precise cooking, sauces that matter and vegetables that are never secondary. The tasting menus let the courses follow a thoughtful progression, and an à la carte selection is available at times. The house deserves to be a destination in itself, combined with a visit to Dol-de-Bretagne, its cathedral and the nearby coast.
