About
Port la Chaîne is at the place of the same name in Pleubian, on the Presqu’île Sauvage, between the Trieux and Jaudy estuaries. The campsite has direct access to the sea, in a Natura 2000 site next to an area of the Conservatoire des oiseaux. There are two heated pools: an outdoor one with a paddling pool, slide and water games, and an indoor one with a paddling pool. Mobile homes have up to three bedrooms, and pitches welcome tents and motorhomes. A snack bar, bar, restaurant, takeaway pizzas and a small grocery with bread are on site. Evening entertainment, children’s activities, tournaments, games and organised walks set the pace of the season. François and Françoise welcome campers. Sea kayaking, windsurfing and paddleboarding start from the coast, the Sillon de Talbert, a long shingle spit, is very close, and Paimpol, a former cod-fishing port, is nearby. Nearby, the Bodic lighthouse in Lézardrieux is about 16 minutes by car (12 km), and Tréguier about 20 minutes by car (14 km).
