About
The GCU des Sables Blancs campsite is in Locquirec, in the Finistère, by the sea, near the Sables Blancs beach. Locquirec, a small resort between the Finistère and the Côtes-d’Armor, is known for its nine beaches. It belongs to the Groupement des campeurs universitaires, an association founded in 1937 that offers simple, friendly and non-commercial holidays: everyone takes part in the life of the site. The flat site, divided by conifer hedges, has about a hundred pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with electricity, washing machines and toilet blocks adapted for people with reduced mobility. Pets are allowed. It only opens in summer. Windsurfing, canoeing and volleyball are available on site or close by. Nearby, you can visit the Grand Rocher in Plestin-les-Grèves, about 12 minutes by car (7.9 km), and the Pointe de Primel in Plougasnou, about 24 minutes by car (17 km).
