What to do in Finistère during the All Saints’ holidays
The Pointe du Raz, Océanopolis, the Huelgoat forest, spring tides and the legends of the Monts d’Arrée: our ideas for All Saints’ 2026 in Finistère.
8 min read
The 2026 All Saints’ holidays run from Saturday 17 October to Monday 2 November, for all three zones at once. Finistère is at its most beautiful in this season: skies that change by the hour, a sea that is still mild, and headlands where you find yourself almost alone, where you have to elbow your way through in August.
All Saints’ 2026 events in Finistère
Brest and Quimper have most of the shows and workshops; the rest of the department is enjoyed outdoors, between headlands and forests.

The end of the world, without the crowds
The Pointe du Raz, the Pointe de Pen-Hir and its Tas de Pois rocks, the Crozon peninsula: the great coastal sites are made for autumn. The low light carves out the cliffs, and a westerly gale becomes a show. Stay on the paths and away from the edge: in strong winds, gusts come without warning.
