The Camping de l’Île Mouchet covers 3.7 green hectares on the banks of the Loire, on the Impasse de l’Île Mouchet in Ancenis, between Nantes and Angers. The town centre is 800 metres away. With the Camping Qualité label, it has 129 pitches: 96 grass pitches, including Coco Sweet, Hello Cabane, Campétoile and Mataï lodgings to sleep without gear, 20 mobile homes and 12 residents’ units. One mobile home is adapted for people with reduced mobility. The heated water area, open from May to September depending on the weather, has a 70 m² pool at 26 °C, a heated paddling pool and sun loungers. The ageing water slide is closed for safety reasons. On the Loire à Vélo route, the campsite is a handy stop for cyclists and walkers. The banks of the Loire are great for walks, and Ancenis has its château by the river. Nearby, you can visit Oudon, about 10 minutes by car (8.7 km).
