About
The Camping de la Tour is on rue de la Gare, in Oudon, on the banks of the Loire, between Nantes and Ancenis. It takes its name from the medieval tower of Oudon, which overlooks the village. It has about 65 shaded or partly shaded pitches, with or without electricity, for tents, caravans and motorhomes, and two rentals. A service area welcomes motorhomes. A play area, a pétanque pitch, table tennis and a barbecue are on site, and pets are allowed. The nearest swimming pool is 9 kilometres away. With the Accueil Vélo label, the campsite is a stopover on the Loire à Vélo. Champtoceaux and its hillsides, across the river, and the villages of the Nantes vineyards are within reach. Nearby, you can visit the Château d’Oudon, about 600 m away, and the Butte de la Roche in Le Loroux-Bottereau, about 30 minutes by car (22 km).
