About
Le Domaine de Pont-Mahé is on rue Pont-Mahé in Assérac, 250 metres from the beach of the same name, at the head of the bay. It is a human-sized family campsite, with pitches separated by hedges. The pool is covered and heated, with a paddling pool, water games and a small slide. An entertainer runs the mini club for 6 to 12 year olds, and aqua fun, pétanque tournaments and table tennis liven up the summer. Mobile homes sleep two to eight people. Motorhome owners have a waste and water point and electricity on the pitches. A grocery, snack bar, laundry and barbecue corner complete the services, with bread and pastries in summer. Marie and Sandrine welcome holidaymakers. Herbignac is a quarter of an hour away. By the sea, the Baie des Dames (Pen Bé) is about 7 minutes by car (4.3 km). Nearby, the Tréhiguier lighthouse in Pénestin is about 8 minutes by car (5.9 km), and the Château de Ranrouët in Herbignac about 19 minutes by car (13 km).
