About
The Camping de Mindin is on the avenue du Bois in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, in a wooded estate of maritime pines, less than a hundred metres from the beach. The Pointe de Mindin looks out over the Loire estuary and the Saint-Nazaire bridge. It has about 73 pitches and some twenty rentals. The pool is covered and heated; swim shorts are not allowed. A gym, bar, snack bar, grocery and laundry are on site, with entertainment in season. In summer, sandcastle contests, craft workshops and football matches on the beach keep children busy; in the evening, there is karaoke, mussels and chips, barbecues and dances. The bar-snack-pizzeria serves breakfast and takeaway. The Brière park, the Saint-Nazaire shipyards and the Guérande salt marshes are less than 30 km away. By the sea, Les Rochelets beach is about 9 minutes by car (7.7 km), and L’Océan beach about 10 minutes by car (6.1 km).
