About
The Camping du Vieux Château stands on Avenue d’Anjou in Tharon-Plage, in the town of Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef. The beach and the centre are a five-minute walk away, and the town has 4.5 km of sand. The pool is indoor and heated, from early April to early October, with a paddling pool with water jets. Its roof opens when the sun allows: you swim outdoors on fine days and under cover when the wind blows. In summer, concerts, karaoke, quizzes and bingo liven up the evenings. It has 29 pitches of 80 to 90 m², with 10 A electricity and free Wi-Fi, and eight ranges of mobile homes with one to four bedrooms, eight of them air-conditioned from 2027 and one adapted for people with reduced mobility. A snack bar in summer, a grocery, a bread service, a laundry and bike hire are on site. In July and August, the market is held 200 metres from the entrance. Pornic is 9 km away, Saint-Brevin-les-Pins 12 km. By the sea, the Grande Plage de Tharon in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef is about 1 km away, and Les Rochelets beach about 10 minutes by car (8.4 km). Nearby, you can visit the Roche Percée in Préfailles, about 12 minutes by car (8.7 km), and the Pointe Saint-Gildas light in Préfailles, about 12 minutes by car (9 km).
