About
The Camping du Lac is at Kerlearec in Carnac, on the edge of an inlet of the sea known locally as the lake. Far from the bustle of Carnac-Plage, it is a nature campsite and a refuge of the Ligue pour la protection des oiseaux (the French bird protection league). The outdoor pool is heated, with a small paddling pool, and a mini farm entertains the children. The campsite follows a strong environmental policy. Mobile homes, including one-bedroom models with a TV and a covered terrace, and unusual rentals are available; grassy pitches separated by hedges welcome tents and caravans. By the sea, Beaumer beach and the Grande Plage of Carnac are about 10 to 11 minutes by car (7.2 km). Nearby, the Carnac alignments are about 8 minutes by car (4.6 km), and the Musée de Préhistoire about 9 minutes by car (5.6 km).
