About
From beach to beach, this path leads from the harbour at La Trinité-sur-Mer to the Pointe de Kerbihan, with its view over the bay of Quiberon. You follow the harbour, Men Allen beach and the Bois d’Amour, lined with large early 20th century houses, to the beaches of Kerbihan and Grazu. At the point stands Ty Guard, the old customs officers’ house. After the long Kervillen beach, the path runs along the salt marshes restored in 2012: one hectare, presented as the northernmost in Europe, where a salt worker harvests about ten tonnes of salt a year. The Poulbert pine wood has picnic tables. The loop is 7.9 km long; allow about 1 h 45 of walking. The stated level is easy. Start: the Loïc-Caradec jetty, on the harbour at La Trinité-sur-Mer. The waymarking is yellow, and red and white on the sections shared with the GR. The official route, published by Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone.
