About
The Château de Rosanbo grew from an ancient site overlooking the Bô valley. Successive extensions gradually turned the fortified house into a vast aristocratic residence. The château keeps many pieces of furniture, portraits, books and memorabilia linked to the families who lived there. The park, shaped by long perspectives, was remodelled in the early 20th century in the spirit of classical gardens. The visit is guided or accompanied depending on the day. It takes about 45 minutes for the château, plus time for the park. The family character of the place is one of its main attractions. Outside the season, visits are only for groups of 25 or more, by booking: individual visitors should not expect the château to be open.
