About
The Château de Kérouzéré was built in the 15th century in the Léon, a time of tension when the great seigneurial houses kept a strongly defensive character. Its layout was once organised around four massive towers; three still stand today. The curtain walls, granite volumes and interior rooms show how a fortified castle gradually became a residence. Kérouzéré is still lived in, which gives the visit a special character. Self-guided and guided tours are organised in season; guided tours are best booked, as numbers are limited. In 2026, the château was open every day from 1 July to 31 August, from 10 am to 6.30 pm, and during some holidays and weekends in low season.
