About

The Domaine de l’Oust’ellerie is not a hotel estate but a small municipal facility designed for slow travel. On Rue du Casset in Montertelot, the four wooden cabins stand on the banks of the Oust, near the Nantes-Brest canal and right on the Vélodyssée. Each cabin sleeps two, on two single mattresses. A small sheltered platform at the front has two seats and a folding table, while a shelter at the back holds two bikes. There is no electricity in the cabins. The toilets are in the village, reached with a badge on the key ring, with a low-cost paid shower. Check-in is self-service from 3 pm and check-out before 10 am. In 2026, the municipal price was very affordable, around €14 per cabin per night, with the cabins open from spring to the end of October. The real luxury here is not comfort but location: Montertelot is a natural stop for cyclists, walkers and boaters, with a quay, picnic areas, kayak hire and immediate access to the Oust landscapes.
