About
Castel Beau Site stands right on Saint-Guirec beach in Ploumanac’h, in the heart of the Pink Granite Coast. The famous customs officers’ path and the granite boulders are right outside the hotel. The 4-star hotel has 33 rooms and suites over three floors. Most face the sea and the rocks of Ploumanac’h, while a few categories open onto the customs officers’ path side. Premium rooms have more complete equipment, including a king-size bed, a Nespresso machine, a Bose speaker, bathrobes and Clarins products. Some Premium rooms on the path side are also adapted for people with reduced mobility. Breakfast is served facing the sea from about 7 to 10.30 am, a real highlight of the stay given the view of the beach and rocks. La Table de mon Père, run by chef Nicolas Le Luyer, offers cooking focused on Brittany, local produce and seafood. The restaurant is currently open for lunch and dinner, with a more gastronomic experience in the evening. Castel Beau Site has stepped up its environmental approach and obtained the Clef Verte eco-label in 2026. As part of this, the former outdoor hot tub has been removed to reduce water and energy use: the hotel no longer has a hot tub. The hotel belongs to H8 Collection and today focuses on combining upmarket accommodation, gastronomy and immersion in the landscape rather than a spa offer. It is especially suited to a romantic or photography trip and is an ideal starting point for walking the GR34 between Ploumanac’h, Perros-Guirec and Trégastel.
