About
The Domaine de Rochevilaine occupies the Pointe de Pen Lan in Billiers, on a rocky peninsula of more than a hectare with about 300 metres of private seafront. The estate is made up of several historic houses brought together over time. You enter through the monumental 13th century Portail de la Vérité. Behind it, manor houses, gardens, terraces and rooms follow one another right above the ocean. The estate has been a member of Relais & Châteaux for several decades and now has 34 rooms and suites. Unlike a standard hotel, the rooms are spread across several buildings, each with a very different character. Classic rooms and duplexes are generally 35 to 50 m². Others are exceptional suites: the Duplex Voiles of 75 m² plus terrace, Belle de Vilaine of 83 m², the Loft des Artistes of 90 m² or the Manoir de la Mine d’Or of 125 m² with a terrace and private outdoor hot tub. The Aqua Phénicia Marine Spa covers about 1,300 m². It has a pool heated to around 30 °C, two saunas, a hammam, a cold bath and a water circuit. The estate is described as one of the pioneers of the marine spa concept in France. An outdoor pool, a fitness room and various treatments complete the wellness offer. Private parking is free, and charging points are available, currently free of charge. The gastronomic restaurant is another pillar of the estate. A shellfish bar and a lounge bar let you enjoy the sea at different times of day. Rochevilaine is a destination in itself. A stay of two or three nights lets you combine spa, gastronomy, a walk on the Pointe de Pen Lan, a visit to Pénestin and the Gulf of Morbihan.
