About
L’Ancre d’Or stands at 55 rue de la Plage in Pénestin, facing the Mine d’Or area. Its location gives direct access to the coast and to one of the most recognisable landscapes in south Morbihan, with the commune’s golden cliffs and long beaches. This 2-star hotel is very small, with just six double rooms, all air-conditioned and on the first floor. There is no lift. This creates a calm, family atmosphere but makes the hotel rooms unsuitable for wheelchair users. The rooms measure between 15 and 20 m². Some have a sea-view balcony, others a terrace. The large Belle-Île-en-Mer room measures around 21 m² and has a 12 m² sea-view terrace. The Île d’Hoëdic room has a sea-view terrace of around 15 m². The Île d’Aloes, Île Dumet and Île aux Moines rooms have a sea-view balcony. To make up for the upstairs rooms, the house offers an accessible furnished studio on the ground floor. Around 28 m², it has a small terrace, a kitchenette with a sink, induction hob, fridge and microwave, an adapted shower room and a parking space. It can have two 90 x 200 cm beds or a large 180 x 200 cm bed.
