About
Landerneau has three markets a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 8 am to 12.30 pm, on Place du Général-de-Gaulle. The Saturday one is the busiest. The town spreads along both banks of the Élorn, at the far end of the Brest roadstead. Its Pont de Rohan, lined with inhabited houses, is one of the last inhabited bridges in Europe. The market is held a short walk from the quays and the bridge, so you can carry on with a stroll through the old centre. After the market, you can visit Daoulas, about 15 minutes by car (12 km), and the Musée du Léon in Lesneven, about 19 minutes by car (17 km).
