About
Every Monday, the big weekly Redon market sets up in the heart of the town centre, around the covered market. From October to April, it runs from 8.30 am to 1 pm; from May to September, from 8.30 am to 2 pm. Rich in local produce and craftspeople, it is a must for residents and visitors alike. Redon is a crossroads town, at the confluence of the Vilaine and the Oust and on the Nantes-Brest canal, where Ille-et-Vilaine, Morbihan and Loire-Atlantique meet. After the market, you can visit the Musée Yves Rocher in La Gacilly, about 17 minutes by car (14 km), and La Gacilly, about 20 minutes by car (17 km).
