About
The Île farmers’ market is held every Tuesday, from 4 pm to 7 pm, under the big hall of the Solilab, 8 rue Saint-Domingue, on the Île de Nantes. It is run by Les Écossolies and Terroirs 44, and promotes small-scale farming, direct sales and short supply chains. Every week there are seasonal vegetables and fruit, bread, eggs, and aromatic and exotic plants. On the first Tuesday of the month, the range widens: honey, artisan preserves, seaweed and spirulina, wine, veal, processed fruit, microgreens and vegetable seedlings. After the market, you can visit Trentemoult in Rezé, about 7 minutes by car (3.4 km), and the Château des ducs de Bretagne in Nantes, about 8 minutes by car (3.6 km).
