About

Brambell beach lies in the Toulport area, about three kilometres from the centre of Piriac-sur-Mer. It offers a sandy beach broken up by rocks and is well suited to shore fishing when the shore is uncovered. A ten-space motorhome area with water and toilets is opposite, and the customs officers’ path leads to Port au Loup, Piriac or Mesquer. The bathing water was monitored from 10 June to 15 September 2026. The national register describes the site as equipped, closed to animals, with toilets and a first-aid post, but no shower, no drinking water and no wheelchair access. The town of Piriac lists only Lérat, Saint-Michel and Pors er Ster as having FFSS lifeguards in July and August, so do not count on lifeguards here. For shore fishing, the 2026 health rating for mussels is “tolerated”, with cooking recommended when quality is average. Dogs are banned from 8 am to 8 pm from 1 June to 30 September.
