About
Lanséria is the largest fine-sand beach in Mesquer. Very family-friendly, it has a lifeguard post open from 12 pm to 7 pm in season, toilets, showers and parking nearby. Several paths lead to the beach, some with steps. A Tiralo is available at the SNSM post in July and August to help people with reduced mobility swim. The channel is a key safety feature: it clearly separates the swimming area from the mooring area. The beach is also very busy at spring tides for shore fishing, both in the sand and on the rocks, so check the health orders and quotas. Sandcastle contests are held in summer. From Lanséria, you can join the Pointe de Merquel trail, about 10 to 12 km depending on the route. Pets are allowed outside summer but banned from 15 June to 15 September.
