About
At Kerguilan, in the meadows of the Vieux Moulin, the Laïta nature campsite is an alternative to the busy, heavily equipped campsites on the coast. About twenty pitches are spread over one hectare, with a real shared kitchen and toilet blocks with three hot showers, a baby area and an adapted cubicle. Tents, caravans, vans and motorhomes can stay on the site, while vehicles do not stay in the living area once set up. Solar hot water, reed bed water treatment and composting show a practical environmental approach. The sea and the shops are about 1.5 kilometres away. Hobs, a microwave, a fridge, sinks and crockery are provided in the shared kitchen, so campers travelling light can cook a real meal without carrying all their gear. Three large hot showers, washbasins and toilets are complemented by a baby area with a bath and changing table, and an adapted cubicle with a shower, washbasin and WC. The sea and the shops are about 1.5 kilometres away. You can walk to the coast, then head off on walks towards Le Pouldu and the Kérou or Bellangenêt beaches. Picnic tables, barbecues and a shelter for bikes and motorbikes add to the friendly feel. Charging points and a laundry complete the facilities, with electricity and washing machines possibly charged extra. The 2026 season ran from 1 April to 30 September. June and September are especially good for exploring the paths and the coast in a peaceful atmosphere.
