About

The Paimpont municipal campsite is on rue du Chevalier Lancelot du Lac, in Paimpont, in the very heart of the Brocéliande forest. It is open all year round. It has 78 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, and 12 fully equipped wooden chalets, one of them adapted for people with reduced mobility. The beds sleep up to 79 people, and the Étang Bleu hall opposite hosts groups and events. Reception is open from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm in mid and low season, and in the afternoon as well in July and August. The Paimpont abbey, its pond, Merlin’s tomb, the Barenton spring and the Val sans Retour can be reached on foot or by bike. Arthurian legends are everywhere around. Nearby, you can visit the Château de Trécesson in Campénéac, about 12 minutes by car (11 km), and the Musée de l’Officier in Guer, about 17 minutes by car (12 km).
