About
In La Baule, L’Eden welcomes tents, caravans, motorhomes and mobile homes in a 5-hectare park, with an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, an 85 m slide and seasonal family services. It is a balance between traditional camping, comfortable rentals and a beach holiday: the campsite is inland, and the sea requires a short trip. La Baule away from the seafront: L’Eden lies in a wooded park, away from the seaside promenade. The stay keeps a green camping spirit while the bay of La Baule is easy to reach. The beach is about 3.5 km away as the crow flies, according to the operator. A real choice for traditional camping: the operator lists about forty plots of around 100 m², separated by hedges, with 10 A electric hook-ups depending on the option. Twin-axle caravans are not accepted on these plots. Mobile homes range from one to four bedrooms, sleeping up to eight people depending on the model. The water area: a 55 m² indoor pool complements a 185 m² outdoor pool, a paddling pool and a long 85-metre slide, with pools heated to 28°C. The indoor pool opens over a wider period; the outdoor pools depend more on the season. Respect the age and height restrictions on the slide; for very young children, the paddling pool is more suitable. Daily life: a grocery with bread and pastries, a snack bar, a pizzeria and a summer bar, Le P’tit Tonneau, each with its own calendar. Bike hire, a laundry and a baby corner are also available. The toilet blocks have adapted facilities, but the operator states that there is no equipment to help people with reduced mobility into the pools. In 2026, the campsite was open from 3 April to 30 September, with the indoor pool from 4 April and the outdoor pool mainly from May to September. A day on La Baule beach, a visit to the walled town of Guérande and an outing in the salt marshes make a balanced stay. Le Pouliguen and the Escoublac forest also offer pleasant walks.
