About
Le Bernier stands on Rue de la Cormorane in La Plaine-sur-Mer, a few hundred metres from Port-Giraud beach. The pool is indoor and heated. It rents out mobile homes for up to seven people, and pitches welcome tents, caravans and motorhomes. There is a bar and snack bar to order from, a bread service, a laundry, a playground, pétanque, table tennis and a library; an iron, an ironing board and a hairdryer can be borrowed at reception, where Wi-Fi is free. In high season, creative workshops keep children busy, and mussels and chips or sardine nights bring campers together. The campsite is close to the cycle paths, and touring cyclists stop over here. By the sea, the Grande Plage de Tharon in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef is about 7 minutes by car (3.6 km), and Les Rochelets beach about 14 minutes by car (12 km). Nearby, you can visit the Roche Percée in Préfailles, about 9 minutes by car (6.3 km), and the Pointe Saint-Gildas light in Préfailles, about 10 minutes by car (6.7 km).
