Les Prairies de l’Étang stands on Rue du Pont-aux-Pages in Assérac, in a quiet, green, wooded setting by a lake. The family beaches of Pont-Mahé and Pen-Bé are 5 km away, five minutes by car or a quarter of an hour by bike. There is a heated indoor pool and children’s pool, and outside a pool with spa jets, a multi-lane slide, a lazy river, water cannons and games for little ones. A fitness area and sports grounds complete the site. It rents out mobile homes with two or three bedrooms and unusual units: a Wood Lodge, a Cabadienne, a Coco Sweet, a Tithome and a wooden cabin. Large pitches welcome tents, caravans and motorhomes. By the sea, Pont-Mahé beach in Assérac is about 7 minutes by car (4.9 km), and the Baie des Dames (Pen Bé) about 8 minutes by car (5.7 km). Nearby, you can visit the Tréhiguier lighthouse in Pénestin, about 12 minutes by car (10 km), and the Château de Ranrouët in Herbignac, about 14 minutes by car (8.4 km).
